OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2006 as Iowa Interfaith Power & Light, we began as part of the national Interfaith Power & Light movement, working to engage faith communities in climate action. Over the years, we have expanded our reach, advocating for sustainable solutions, providing educational resources, and fostering interfaith collaboration. In 2025, we rebranded as Iowa Faith & Climate Network to reflect our growing mission and diverse community. As a statewide nonprofit, we mobilize people of diverse faith and spirituality from all walks of life. Our supporters include individuals and religious communities committed to climate justice.
