Deaconess Irene DeMaris

Executive Director
Irene DeMaris is the Executive Director of Iowa Faith & Climate Network, where she has driven the organization through transformative and strategic change to grow its mission. Under her leadership, the organization has successfully navigated significant transitions, expanded its programming, and realigned its efforts to meet the evolving needs of faith communities in Iowa. Irene has enhanced the network’s policy advocacy efforts, substantially increased fundraising, and spearheaded the modernization of operational systems, and the strengthening of partnerships with key organizations.
Tim Gossett

Associate Director
For over three decades, Tim has worked in and with churches and nonprofits in faith formation and technology roles. Most recently, he was the Director of User Experience for Aboundant, a nonprofit-centered web design agency. A published author and editor of numerous works including a curriculum that helps youth care for creation and practice environmental stewardship, Tim holds Masters degrees in Religious Education and Religious Communications from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
