That’s why I hope you will join us on Saturday, March 29 at Grinnell College for our Called to Climate Action Conference, a day of coming together to turn hope into action and tackle the climate crisis.
This is a special moment for us—it’s our first event where we are fully living into our new vision and mission as Iowa Faith & Climate Network. We are excited to bring together a community of supporters like you who are committed to a healthy, just, and sustainable future for all.
The center of climate justice is a strong and supportive community. That’s why we’re gathering to hear from our keynote, Rev. Melanie Mullen, a powerful and justice-rooted speaker whose words will move us to action. Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of workshops led by people who care deeply about climate action. You’ll meet organizations we work closely with, discover ways to get involved, and leave feeling empowered to make a difference.
This is more than just an event—it’s a movement to build community and take action together as Iowa Faith & Climate Network. One of our core values is collaboration because we know that tackling climate change is not a solo endeavor. Only by coming together—sharing our wisdom, strength, and faith—can we create real, lasting change for our communities and our planet. We need you to be part of it.
Mark your calendar, register, invite a friend, and come be part of our new mission: to nurture environmental leadership by equipping individuals and communities with resources to take climate action.
We can’t wait to see you there!
