Presented by: The EcoTheatre Lab with Iowa Faith & Climate Network
Webinar on Zoom
Workshop Description
How can stories help us navigate climate conversations with our friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors? Join Iowa Faith and Climate and The EcoTheatre Lab for “Climate Conversations: A Little Drama Goes a Long Way.”
You’ll hear from artists who bring together theatre, asset-based strategies, and environmental communication to further climate action in their community. The EcoTheatre Lab will share an example of a short eco-play, and participants will explore how storytelling – and maybe even a little drama – might enhance their own climate conversations.
At the end, you’ll hear about some of the ways you can engage in climate action in your setting – including an church that received a $1000 grant from Iowa Faith & Climate Network to put on a climate theater festival. Tim Gossett, our Associate Director, will share some of the latest opportunities, news and resources from Iowa Faith & Climate Network.
