Earth Month 2022 is coming to a close. Our daily temperatures are (slowly) warming, our daylight is lasting longer into the evening, and the May flowers are beginning to bloom. As Earth Month wraps up, I invite you to reflect on your intentions for Earth Month 2022. Did you meet your goals? If not, there’s still time!
The beauty of Earth Day is that it doesn’t have to end after April 22nd. The necessity for bold and just action on the climate crisis extends all year round. Iowa IPL hopes to encourage those of faith and conscience to continue to participate in climate events no matter what time of the year it is. As the weather warms, there are even more opportunities to do climate work in your community!
Climate justice comes in many forms. Whether it is planning or participating in an event, using your media platforms to spread awareness and uplift others, or donating to an organization, your support makes a difference.
Iowa IPL’s Earth Month goal was to reach $10,400 by the end of April – and we are almost there! Because of supporters like you, Iowa IPL continues to work toward a future of hope and abundance. Our faith guides us to envision a better world for future generations. We do this work for those who will come after us. For clean water, clean air, and green spaces for all to enjoy.
