Directly following the Statewide gathering at Elizabeth Ann Seton on October 26th, college students from across the state will come together for a workshop held at Mount Mercy’s Graduate Center from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, where they will examine the central question:
“As I discern my calling, how does faith invite me into climate action?”
Starting in September, co-sponsoring colleges and universities will assemble an on-campus team of student leaders who will join the statewide network of students to finalize the details of the Called to Climate Action Program, help promote it, and host events in their community related to the theme of our calling by faith to climate action.
Iowa IPL will provide the structure, resources, leadership training, subject-matter experts and tools to the students.
