Join our friends at Faith in Place for their 2022 Green Team Summit from September 11-14!
This hybrid summit will engage faith and spiritual leaders from across the Midwest to lead practices and reflections from their traditions—connecting people to environmental justice, healing, and climate resilience.
The summit kicks off with Dr. Katharine Hayhoe with the keynote address followed by a live Q&A exploring her most recent book, “Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World.” (Iowa IPL’s Faith Farms & Climate is mentioned in one of the chapters!)
Other sessions include: Exploring Environmental Justice with Faith Leaders, Climate Resilience from a Justice Perspective, Healing Centered Justice, and more. You can find the full agenda HERE.
Iowa IPL is proud to be a sponsor for this year’s Green Team Summit and support the work that our Faith in Place colleagues are doing in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
